Romana Beutel, soprano

Romana Beutel received her musical training in classical vocal performance at the Konservatorium Wien University with Julia Conwell and Uta Schawabe. She also attended several master courses, with Cornelius Reed, Patricia Weise und Rudolf Piernay, among others. She has won numerous national and international music competitions: Romana Beutel placed first at the vocal competition "Prima la musica” in the solo vocalist category and she won the Fidelio competition twice. Previous engagements have taken her to the Vienna Chamber Opera, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Vienna Musikverein.

Her roles include, among others, the role of Papagena in "The Magic Flute", the role of Eurydike in "Orpheus in the Underworld" as well as the leading role in "Amahl and the Night Visitors". Romana Beutel also performs at recitals and has extensive experience with choir music.

 

Patricia Nessy, soprano

Patricia Nessy was born in Trier/Germany and pursued her musical studies at Konservatorium Wien University. She has had numerous domestic and international engagements, including an engagement with the London Symphony Orchestra. In Canada and the US, Patricia Nessy has appeared as the musical ambassador of the Viennese operetta - at Carnegie Hall, among others. Patricia Nessy is also a highly acclaimed musical vocalist, having performed the leading role in the smash hit musical "Elisabeth" in Vienna. This versatile artist also has frequent TV and radio performances dedicated to chamber music, musicals and operettas.

Sebastian Huppmann, baritone

Viennese baritone Sebastian Huppmann started his musical education at a very early age and had his first public performance as a member of the Mozart Boys Choir Vienna. He studied vocal performance at the University of Vienna and at the Konservatorium Wien University with Sebastian Vittucci. Sebastian Huppmann is a highly acclaimed vocalist in the area of sacred music, appearing both in Austria and abroad. Recently he has been focusing on his opera repertoire (at the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Chamber Opera, etc.). His latest role was Mozart's Figaro, which he performed in Japan. His repertoire includes, among others, works by Bach (Kreuzstabkantate", "Ich habe genug", "Johannes Passion", "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben"), Händel ("Messiah"), Rossini ("Petite messe solenelle"), Brahms ("Elias") and Charpentier ("Te Deum").
